The Grau top hat rail adapter GA 35, made from fibreglass reinforced polyamide, is the astoundingly simply and economical solution for the quick and secure top hat rail mounting of transformers. The transformer is clipped onto the top hat rails manually, without tools, in just a few simple steps and can likewise be quickly removed.
The transformers must have W or Wa shape brackets in accordance with DIN 41 307. An adapter is attached to each of the brackets and securely fastened by means of a spring clamp (type KF 1, KF 1.5 or KF 2) made from hardened spring steel.
Thus pre-mounted, the transformer can simply be clipped onto top hat rails with dimensions of 35 x 7.5 mm or 35 x 15 mm (in accordance with DIN EN 50 022). A movable and sprung slider integrated into the adapter allows the adapter to be clipped onto the top hat rails and ensures a form-locking connection between the adapter and top hat rails by means of spring back.
The transformer is thus securely and firmly connected to the top hat rails. The adapters can be attached at any time - even retroactively. They are not dependent on the package height of the transformer since they are mounted on both foot angles. The user therefore has the option of screwing the transformers onto the top hat rails as normal or attaching them by means of the simple and economical adapter quick connection.
